Background

Our Company is privately owned with working directors and was established on the 1st July 1988. We are formerly a division of Wrightson NMA until the staff and overseas interests purchased the Company. Ritex has a history of credibility, honesty and we have great pride in all our business dealings.

Background

Primarily involved in the importing of Packaging Products, eg. bags, woolpacks,(Jute/Polypropylene/Polyethylene) and all types of Industrial Textiles & allied Textile Products including towels, sheets & general household products. Since then we have been able to expand our business to hospitality, commercial & domestic textiles. More recent years we provide a huge quantity of agriculture, horticulture & virticulture products especially for the grape industry.

The company has been involved for over 80 years in this trade as agents, importers & distributors. Gordon Parry's book on NMA "The story of its first century". Printed by Otago Daily Times & Witness Newspaper in 1964 gives an important background to this relatively new company.
